Since 1964, Bruce King has been quietly producing boat designs of varied types,
with the existing total number of boats produced from these now exceeding 7,000.
These include the early production boats, produced mostly by Ericson Yachts,
large custom sailing yachts, and the radical twin bilgeboard racing yachts of
the early seventies. In the early seventies he pioneered, with the design and
construction of UNICORN, the concept of the traditional or retro-styled / modern
functioning wood-epoxy constructed
sail boat.
